Frequently asked questions
How does therapy work?
Therapy is about exploring and making sense of what you may be experiencing. As the therapist, I do not give advice but I can offer insight and feedback, working together with you and helping you explore safely.
What do the sessions look like?
I offer talking therapy, exploring past, present and future to help make sense of how they connect. I may use creative resources to assist with the process if you feel this can support your exploration. Weekly sessions are recommended to allow for depth and development, and each session is 50 minutes long.
For how long do I need to be in therapy?
I mostly work on an open-ended basis but it depends on your needs and what has brought you to therapy. I invite you to a free 20-minute initial consultation (telephone or Zoom) where we can discuss this and see how we could work together.
How much does it cost and what if I need to cancel?
The session fee is £75 per session, payable in advance by bank transfer.
Any cancellations within a week’s notice can be discussed for an alternative day or an online session. Otherwise, will be subject to full payment.
